What We Do
We run a working family homestead in rural Tennessee and North Georgia — and we document all of it. Not just the wins, but the rework, the wrong turns, and the things we’d do differently. This is where we’ve organized everything we’ve built, grown, and figured out over the years.

The Shop
Woodworking, metal fabrication, and 3D printing. We build things out of necessity, curiosity, and occasional stubbornness. The Shop section covers our projects from start to finish — the planning, the mistakes, and what actually worked. If you’re looking to build something similar, this is where to start.
The Garden
We grow a lot of our own food — vegetables, herbs, and fruit — and we’ve refined our approach over several seasons. The Garden section covers what we plant, how we’ve set things up, and the systems that keep it manageable without taking over your life.
The Land
Managing property is its own ongoing project. Tractor work, fencing, drainage, brush clearing, infrastructure improvements — The Land section covers how we manage and improve our acreage over time, including what equipment we’ve run and what we’ve learned the hard way.
Tools & Equipment
We only write about gear we’ve actually used. This section covers the tools, machines, and supplies that have earned a permanent spot in our workflow — along with honest takes on what’s worth the money and what isn’t.
